16.) BUSINESS USAGE OF HOME. No building may
be used for any commercial or business purpose, except that owners
may choose to have a home office in which their customers contact
them electronically. No Time-Sharing, as defined by the Mississippi
Real Estate Commission, will be allowed.
17.) CURB/STREET DAMAGES. The lot owner shall
be responsible for any damage to any curbing or street in front
of his property, resulting from construction on his lot. Repairs
of such damage must be made within thirty (30) days, or as soon
as practicable allowing for weather delays.. If not repaired in
accordance with the above requirements, then subdivision developers,
or their agents, will repair said damage, and bill the lot owner
at twice the cost of repairs.
18.) GARAGE/DRIVEWAY CONSTRUCTION. No garage
or carport shall be constructed with an opening toward any street,
public or private, unless the garage is equipped with garage doors.
All driveways are to be paved. Gravel driveways will not be allowed.
19.) FENCE/WALL CONSTRUCTION. Fences or walls
may be constructed on lots, so long as they have been approved in
height, materials, and appearance, by the Liddon Hills Architectural
Board. Fences or walls should not be built on top of any utility
or drainage easements, or block any access easements. The use of
chain-link fencing will be permitted only to the rear of the house,
starting at the back wall of the structure.
20.) OUTDOOR APPLIANCES. Heating and Air-conditioning
units should be screened from view by shrubbery or fences.
21.) SWIMMING POOLS. Swimming pools and accessory
structures, including pool-houses and other approved structures,
shall be allowed within the subdivision development, upon approval
of construction plans by the Liddon Hills Architectural Board. Above-ground
pools are discouraged, unless topography dictates their use.
22.) EXTERIOR LIGHTING. All exterior lighting
on each lot shall be installed and maintained to provide illumination
as is necessary for that lot only.
